The Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” , originally released in 1997 (then later retro’d in 2003 and 2009), finally set to return as a remastered version for 2016. The shoe features a full Black-based upper with Varsity Red accents throughout.
The reason why this is such an iconic Air Jordan 12 release is because MJ wore them during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. His Airness put up 38-points all while suffering a flu-like symptoms.
The popular black and red colour way is set to drop on May 28 2016, however there’s no word yet on whether they’ll be composed of leather or nubuck yet, but since Jordan Brand is continuing their remastered initiative we expect them to be done in leather like the original.
