Two-time Midnight Madness Finalist, Jules Dang-Akodo is renowned for staying cool, calm, and collected, and has done just that to bring home back to back wins for his team, LTH Castings, over in the Slovenia Telemach League.
Closing out the game by just two points, Dang-Akodo’s most recent victory was over Portoroz (86-84), where the young star finished with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
Dang-Akodo said, “It was an intense game. We started out slow as a team, but we kept grinding and locked in on defence to get some important stops. As the PG and leader, it’s my job to bring the energy to the team, so in the last 5 minutes when we were down 10, I had a burst of energy that led to scoring straight points which brought us back in to the game to secure the win.”
Prior to Portoroz, Hopsi Polzela also fell at the hands of LTH Castings, 102-90.
Dang-Akodo had a solid game, netting 10 points and grabbing 4 rebounds, as well as dishing out 6 assists, along with 2 steals.
LTH Castings are next to play Sencur Gor this Saturday 2nd April 2016.
