Midnight Madness continues its search for the best British basketball players at Loughborough University. Hundreds of players will compete for their chance to be on the MM travel team and also play with the UK’s most established basketball team, the Leicester Riders.
After hosting the first qualifying rounds in the South of England (London and Portsmouth), the Midnight Madness tournament travels North to Leeds (16th) and Loughborough (17th) to source the best players to represent the North of England in the MM Finals Showcase at the end of the month.
On Sunday 17th August, Loughborough University and the Leicester Riders will play host for the fourth and final qualifier round, before the tournament progresses through to the legendary ‘All-Nighter’ quarter-finals in Birmingham on the 23rd August.
Speaking ahead of the qualifying event Jo Emmett, Performance Sport Strategic Manager at Loughborough University, said: “We are very excited to host Midnight Madness at Loughborough University this summer.
