The Midnight Madness All Star Team put on a fantastic show for thousands of fans at the Quai 54 World Streetball Championship, running out to a comfortable 35-22 victory against French team ‘Agui’.

The game was explosive from start to finish with Matthew Bryan-Amaning and Orlan Jackman both dunking every opportunity that came their way – ably assisted by the always impressive Will ‘Nasty’ Neighbour.

MM legend Germayne ‘Dookatello’ Forbes also got in on the action, rocking ankles like a DJ does beats.  Nice.  Forbes looked in a different class to the competition and calmly led the All-Stars through to the next round with another composed display of leadership, and ‘zen-like’ control of proceedings.

Ashley ‘AGP’ Hamilton also go in on the act with a dunk of his own, joined by a baseline slam from Tayo Ogedengbe to seal the deal.

A nice warm up to what promises to be a strong showing at the premier outdoor basketball event in the world, highlighting the skills, athleticism and huge potential that resides within UK hoops.  The All-Stars advance to the Quarter-Final round for the first time in 5 years.
